For London Design Festival 2011, Flock are becoming the ‘Apprentices’ for a Secret Sensory Supper at the Masonic Temple in the Andaz Hotel on Thursday night… a night directed, designed and composed by the brilliant Silent Studios crew. Cannot wait, I’ve got my eyes wide shut!

Both of us two Flockers have been accepted onto the Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Dance Teaching at the Royal Academy of Dance – (that was bit of a mouthful). Back to the books and classroom for Rosie and Lizzie.

Yohji Yamamoto at The Wapping Project was breathtaking… we got in a boat and floated through this eerie, dramatic yet serene installation.

Our aim for these workshops with the students at Youth University was to enable them to choreograph their own movement. A lot of these students have chosen to take Dance GCSE this September so it was good for them to get a taster of some of the areas of study.

Yes, its true.. one of the fabulous pictures by Carmen Klammer of Flock’s 60X60 piece was used for the Dance Currents 2011 poster. We need to work on our muscular tone if we are going to be shot next to this male dancer.

Flock loved the interactive playful nature of the Move You exhibition. We spent a long time in a very thin green gap of light between two huge walls.

Working at Haggerston Secondary School was great fun and the kids worked really hard with us to create a piece for their Christmas show. Big thanks to Callum Toy for these beautiful photographs.

Flock spent a day filming with Ian Emes and the team from Musion at 3 Mills Studios. We were shooting a holographic film that was shown at Kinetica 2011.
